KyberSync — our world’s first compact wireless Plug-and-Play Real-Time high quality audio transmission system for sabers and other props. The KIT includes x1 Transmitter module and x1 Receiver module and they always work in pair for Real-Time audio. If Transmitter module will be connected to any other bluetooth speaker or audio receiver, it may have a noticeable audio delay. Only 1 Transmitter can be connected to 1 Receiver, but multiple Receivers can be connected to audio Mixer (Order here) with a single stereo output for mixing wireless audio from multiple lightsabers simultaneously.

Works best in open area without walls and radio interference, doesn't work well next to radio microphones and other radio devices. Audio output may have small "clicks and pops" from time to time, it's normal.

  1) (FOR 5V SUPPLY ONLY) To make Proffieboard output 5V constantly, need to add this new bogus "blade" to the config file "BladeConfig blades" section:

  3.3V CONVERSION:

  — Desolder the 5V regulator and the small 0402 1kOhm resistor using Hot Air Soldering station with a small nozzle and bridge the highlighted pads on the Bottom side

  — Bridge the big resistor pads on the Top side

Installation instructions:

Connect KyberSync Transmitter module board audio input directly to your sound board speaker output, Negative power line anywhere to GND on your sound board, Positive power line to +5V source (CFX and Proffieboard have +5V output pads), if your sound board doesn't have +5V output you can convert it to 3.3V and wire to a +3.3V pad. Transmitter board must be placed under window opening (at least 10x20mm around the pcb antenna, the bigger opening the better, it is highly recommended to make a dual opening from both sides of the board for best signal quality) in a metal saber hilt or under any non-conductive surface like plastic, rubber, wood, leather to avoid interference and bluetooth signal blocking. Sabers with a leather wrap, open crystal chamber, wooden or plastic handle or elements are best for such installs because a big cutout opening for the Transmitter board antenna can be easily hidden.

Operating instructions:

Power ON/OFF: Long-press the button for 3 sec

Enter Pairing mode: Double-click the button

Clear paired devices list (Receiver only): Long-press the button for 10 sec

Transmitter Status LED indication (Blue):

Powered On / Idle: Blinks every 5 seconds

Searching for devices / In Pairing mode: Blinks twice every second

Paired / Transmitting sound: Blinks every 10 seconds

Receiver Status LED indication (Red, Blue):

Powered On / Idle: Blue LED blinks 3 times every 5 seconds, Red LED is Off

Searching for devices / In Pairing mode: Alternating blinking between Red and Blue

Paired / Receiving sound: Blue LED always On, Red LED is Off

Micro-USB cable connected / Battery charging: Red LED always On, Blue LED is Off

Micro-USB cable connected / Battery fully charged: Both LEDs are Off

"Automatic Transmitter Power-On": Transmitter module powers up automatically once power is applied, can also be turned Off and On manually by holding the button for 3 seconds

"Manual Button Transmitter Power-On": Transmitter module powers up only manually by holding the button for 3 seconds and when power is applied, turned Off manually by holding the button for 3 seconds
